4 star

7/24/22 - 7/28/22

Backstory: Not much of a backstory, lol. I was attending a work conference hosted at this hotel. I had never heard of this hotel. Since my wife grew up in Fort Lauderdale, she knew about this hotel and was impressed that the conference was here.

Parking: Parking here is not bad but you have to pay attention. Valet was $40 a night so I decided to self park at $20 a night. Self parking is across the street in a parking garage that connects to the hotel.

Lobby: The lobby at this place is a vibe! We walked in at 11:30pm on a Sunday night and the lobby was packed with people sitting, listening to music, and drinking. The indoor garden like design with large glass ceiling is very appealing. In between sessions I would come to the lobby, open my laptop and start working. Relaxing and enjoyable lobby.

Check In: Short and sweet. They have about 8 counters for check in or out so even if the line is long it moves quickly.

Room: The room nice but what I enjoyed most besides the balcony was the decor. It was very modern and new age. The living room was great because it was open space which allowed my kids to run around freely without us worrying about them bumping into things. The entire beachside of the room is floor to ceiling windows, so you can get ocean views in every room. There was a nice dining area as well which we appreciated and used not only to eat dinner but as an area for our kids to do quiet activities.

The bedroom was spacious and bed was comfortable. Lots of closet space, we were able to fit all of our luggage in the closet. The bathroom was also nice with a soaking tub and separate shower area.

Overall, the room was nice. Not blow your socks off but nice still.

Beach: The beach was amazing for the first couple of days. Warm water, not crowded, the sun wasn't beaming. Great. The hotel provides beach chairs for free, so if you get out there early enough or at the right time you can get one. Unfortunately, on the last day they didn't remove the seaweed from the shore so the ocean was basically unreachable. We still high stepped over all the seaweed but there was so much seaweed in the water you could barely move. Not to mention the massive amount of seaweed wrapped around our ankles. So the last day turned from a beach day to a pool day.

Pool: The pools are the main attraction in my opinion. Three pools plus a kiddie play area and two outdoor bars. At night the pools light up all different colors and looks like a fun place to hang out. In fact, people would be in the pools until midnight talking and having a great time. 5 stars for the pool area.

Fitness Center: Everything you need to keep up your workout routine can be found in their fitness center. It's two story and has dumbbells, free weight, machines, treads, stair masters, etc. You wont miss a beat. I found myself getting a few sets in between conference sessions.

Check Out: Easy. Lots of front counter clerks working to help ensure quick check out.

Conclusion: Overall, good stay at a good hotel in a great location. There are many vibes to enjoy at this hotel from the lobby to the bar to the pools, there's a vibe for everyone.
